Donate $10 for an original brick from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing or Barnes Hospital School of Nursing, with all donations going to support student scholarships. When Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing opened in 2007, nursing education was transformed. Building on legacy programs at Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and Barnes Hospital School of Nursing, the new facility incorporated advances in technology and patient care that set a new standard for nursing education.  A new legacy had begun.

The innovative nurse anesthesia graduate program focuses on clinical anesthesia and leadership.

In September, students, faculty and scholarships donors gathered at the campus of Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing to celebrate “Unity in Community” at the school’s homecoming.

The night before homecoming, The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital hosted a dinner for Goldfarb scholarship donors and recipients to celebrate the generosity that empowers nursing students to reach their potential at Goldfarb.

It may have been overcast outside, but there was nothing but sunshine, laughter and smiles inside Powell Hall in midtown St. Louis as the graduates of the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, as well as their families and friends, celebrated nursing school graduation on Saturday, Aug. 20. Also attending were the graduating classes of 1991 and 1966 who were on hand to celebrate their 25th and 50th class reunions, respectively.

Jean Davis, PhD, RN, selected as member of the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research National Advocacy Committee Jean Davis, PhD, RN, senior associate dean for research and PhD program director at the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis, has been selected as a member of the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research National Advocacy Committee. FNINR is a nonprofit group that provides resources to support nursing research and advance the mission of the National Institute of Nursing Research.

The 1966 and 1991 Jewish and Barnes School of Nursing graduation classes attending their 50th and 25th reunions with a day full of memories and fun. It was a joy-filled day of memories, activities and recognition for members of the 1966 and 1991 Jewish and Barnes School of Nursing graduation classes attending their 50th and 25th reunions on Aug. 20. Alumni from near and throughout the country – some as far as Utah and Pennsylvania  –  joined the celebration.
