Types of Loans

Goldfarb School of Nursing students may be eligible for a variety of federal and private/alternative aid programs and loans. Please refer to the Title IV Loan School Code of Conduct to learn about the loan requirements we must adhere to as specified in the Higher Education Act.

Stafford Loan

A Stafford Loan is a federal loan made possible by the U.S. Department of Education for eligible students to help cover the cost of higher education.

Federal PLUS Loans

Parent PLUS and Graduate PLUS loans are available for students to borrow under the Direct PLUS Loan program, which is lent by the U.S. Department of Education.

Private and Alternative Loans

You can explore alternative loan options to see if you are eligible for additional financial aid, or you can look at private loans for additional funding needs. Private loans are available for students requiring funding for things like remaining balances, living expenses, books and supplies, past due balances for previously attending our school and other educationally related expenses.
