Angela Clark

Overview

Dr. Clark previously served as interim Associate Dean, and Executive Director of Undergraduate and Prelicensure Programs at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, a position she had held since 2019. During her tenure at the University of Cincinnati, Clark was recognized for Excellence in Undergraduate Research Mentoring, Faculty to Faculty Mentoring, and as the University’s E-learning Champion. She has completed residency experiences with the National Institutes of Health, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and is a recognized Apple Distinguished Educator actively participating in Apple educational initiatives and ‘think-tanks’.

Her federally funded research included the development of multiple educational interventions to support inclusive learning environments in health professions, harm reduction efforts related to the opioid epidemic, a reduced stigma against persons with substance use disorders and an increase in knowledge and implementation of evidence-based best practices for substance abuse treatment. In addition to her academic and clinical work, Clark is an active public health advocate and has been a strong supporter for policy and practice change, within nursing and across healthcare professions.

Dr. Clark has previously held faculty positions at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Overview

Ed Gricius, MS comes to Barnes-Jewish College from Loyola University where he has been since 2010. He was in the Office of First and Second Year Advising for four years and then moved to Loyola's Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing in 2014.

Prior to Loyola, he gained extensive experience with student affairs and academic services. He worked over 12 years in residence life supporting wellness and intercultural initiatives, staff development and training, and campus services at Benedictine University, Marquette University, and Elmhurst College.

Part of his career included meeting the needs of students across multiple disciplines, from business to nursing. At Barnes-Jewish College, he is excited to focus specifically on nursing students.
