Dr. Clark previously served as interim Associate Dean, and Executive Director of Undergraduate and Prelicensure Programs at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, a position she had held since 2019. During her tenure at the University of Cincinnati, Clark was recognized for Excellence in Undergraduate Research Mentoring, Faculty to Faculty Mentoring, and as the University’s E-learning Champion. She has completed residency experiences with the National Institutes of Health, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and is a recognized Apple Distinguished Educator actively participating in Apple educational initiatives and ‘think-tanks’.

Her federally funded research included the development of multiple educational interventions to support inclusive learning environments in health professions, harm reduction efforts related to the opioid epidemic, a reduced stigma against persons with substance use disorders and an increase in knowledge and implementation of evidence-based best practices for substance abuse treatment. In addition to her academic and clinical work, Clark is an active public health advocate and has been a strong supporter for policy and practice change, within nursing and across healthcare professions.
