Greetings from Dr. Angela Clark

First, Happy Nurse’s and Health Care Week! Whether you’re a nurse or nurse supporter, we’re all stakeholders in nursing, and it truly takes us ALL. After a quick first week on the job, I feel inspired and energized about nursing’s impact on the future of health care!

What I’ve humbly gathered in my first days serving as your President is the rich legacy, supportive culture, and opportunity to innovate– that’s set the foundation for our Path to Distinction.

From this moment on, as I walk through the threshold of our College doors, I will do so with gratitude and excitement because I understand and appreciate the significance of my role. Carrying the torch can be an intimidating notion. But I am up for the challenge because I know that I am not alone. Each of you plays a significant role in the success of our College. Like me, each one of you also carries a torch that lights our Path to Distinction.

As we begin our walk—together—I look forward to learning more about Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing. I look forward to learning more about you!

Whether formal discussions, Teams meetings or an impromptu chat, I am enthusiastic about discovering the richness of our spirit and opportunities for success, innovations and transformation.

Yes, I know it will take time. But just like my first step into the College last week, that one step is often the beginning of an amazing destination. I am proud to walk with you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Clark
