American Nurses Association President Visits Future Nursing Professionals at Goldfarb School of Nursing Barnes-Jewish College

Dr. Cipriano, along with Jill Kliethermes the CEO of the Missosuri Nurses Association and Midwest Multistate Division Leader, will spend her morning at Goldfarb with students and nurse leaders throughout the St. Louis community. Dr. Cipriano plans to speak about top issues in nursing as they impact Missouri, the Midwest and the nation at large. Pamela F. Cipriano, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, president of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and a recognized national leader in health care, will speak with nursing students and leaders at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing in St. Louis, on Feb. 16. Dr. Cipriano will address top issues in nursing as they impact Missouri, the Midwest and the nation at large.
Dr. Cipriano is the 35th president of ANA, the nation’s largest nurses’ organization representing the interests of the nation’s 3.4 million registered nurses. A distinguished nursing leader, Dr. Cipriano has held executive positions in health care systems, academia and national professional organizations in her career. In 2015, she was named one of the “Top 100 People in Healthcare” and one of the “Top 25 Women in Healthcare,” both by Modern Healthcare magazine.
