During the American Association of Nursing Anesthetists (AANA) Nurse Anesthesia Annual Congress in Chicago, Illinois, held on August 9-13, 2019, Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing nurse anesthesia students showcased their leadership and knowledge in the nurse anesthesia field. Jessica Washington, a student at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, recently was awarded the school’s 2019 Dr. Donald M. Suggs Minority Nursing Student Scholarship. Washington is a first-term nursing student in Goldfarb’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing was just ranked number 8 out of 21 on the Nursing School Hub list of top nurse anesthetist programs in the United States. Nursing School Hub was established to provide useful information and resources to those interested in the field of nursing.

NursingSchoolsAlmanac.com ranked Goldfarb School of Nursing 43rd out of the top 100 nursing schools in the U.S. Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing is among the top nursing schools in the United States, according to NursingSchoolsAlmanac.com’s inaugural rankings. 

Representatives of St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing announced they have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish new pathways for students of the College to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Goldfarb.

The institutions have created two opportunities for students to complete prerequisite requirements at the College, with the intent to complete a BSN at Goldfarb. Students will have the ability to choose from two options:
