Words. Words can change lives. Words. Words can change lives. Over the past several months, we’ve frequently heard, “Health Disparities, Physical Distancing versus Social Distancing, Food Deserts, Systemic Racism – to name a few. But do you know what they really mean? Do you know how they impact our communities and the future of nursing? Would you just like to learn more about the word or phrase? Our experiences over the past several months have taught us a lot about ourselves and our communities. We’re working, learning and communicating differently. This break from our traditional way of living has also introduced a new way to experience the world we share. Simply put, we’re growing together! As we grow, we want to ensure that we always demonstrate Goldfarb’s mission and values and elevate learning moments. Wednesday Word is our opportunity to reinforce those values and increase understanding by presenting a new word or phrase each week. We’ll include links to eBooks, articles and resources related to the word of the week.  We’re excited about growing with you! If you have Wednesday Word ideas, comment below! In the future, you may be selected for a brief interview to discuss your “Word!” Wednesday Word starts next week, July 8th!
