State Aid Programs

State aid programs are available to Missouri residents only and subject to availability of state funds.

Missouri Access Grant

On August 28, 2007, the state of Missouri implemented the Access Grant--a new undergraduate program to replace the Gallagher Grant and Missouri College Guarantee Program. Students have to be Missouri residents who have submitted their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the February 1 deadline and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree seeking program working toward their first bachelor's degree.

Marguerite Ross Barnett Scholarship

Students must be enrolled in 6-11 credit hours per semester and be working a minimum of 20 hours per week; awarded by the state of Missouri. Students must obtain an application from the Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) and submit the FAFSA before August 1.
