Justin Schneider has come to Goldfarb School of Nursing from Missouri Baptist Medical Center where he worked as a staff nurse and then Clinical Scholar (Staff Educator) in the hospital’s Dedicated Education Unit.
Justin brings with him knowledge in Medical-Surgical nursing, having worked on a Medical Complex Unit, which cared for neuro and renal patients. As Clinical Scholar, he educated newly hired graduate nurses through clinical and didactic instruction in Missouri Baptist Medical Center’s Dedicated Education Unit. He is passionate about the care of stroke patients.
Justin was a member of the Professional Nurse Development Council (Shared Governance), a charge nurse, his floor’s stroke champion, and is currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice.
Justin received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the University of Evansville, and his Masters of Science in Nursing in Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
