Dr. Barcus Jackson, DCS, EdD, MBA, ITIL has come to Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College from Alton Community Unit School District #11 where he worked as the director of data and technology services.
Jackson brings over five years of experience in the academia field and over 14 years of leadership experience. He has held various teaching assignments as an adjunct professor of information technology and provides the college great support through his extensive leadership background and education experience.
He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, Consortium of School Networks (COSN) and Illinois Associations of School Business Officials. He also has his ITIL (formerly known as Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification.
Jackson received his doctor of education, leadership from Missouri Baptist University-St. Louis, his doctor of computer science-enterprise information systems from Colorado Technical University-Colorado Springs, masters of business administration from Fontbonne University-St. Louis and a bachelor of science in computers from Lane College-Jackson, Tennessee.
