In 2004, the Tau Iota chapter of Sigma Honor Society of Nursing at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College was established.

With a membership of over 250 active nurses, and a mission to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses commitment to making a difference in health worldwide, the chapter provides member benefits including:

The Tau Iota chapter of Sigma meets every third Thursday of the month, at 2 pm, at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College (4483 Duncan Ave, 63110).
