Commemorative Gathering
Noon – 12:30 p.m. at the Ellen S. Clark Hope Plaza (outside the Eric P. Newman Education Center)
Join us for a commemorative gathering to remember those who have been lost to AIDS as well as to honor people living with HIV, their families, and health care providers who continue to fight against the epidemic. The gathering will include short remarks on the impact of HIV/AIDS from the perspective of nursing, medicine and pharmacy professionals:
- Kevin Mallinson, PhD, RN, FAAN, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College
- Ed Casabar, PharmD, Barnes-Jewish Hospital Pharmacy
- Jessica Grubb, MD, Division of Infectious Diseases, Washington University School of Medicine
The event is open to everyone within the medical center campus. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the lobby of Goldfarb School of Nursing on 4483 Duncan Avenue. (
