Transfer Credit

An articulation agreement is a formal agreement between schools matching required coursework, and is designed to help students make a smooth transition when transferring.

Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has articulation agreements in place with the following institutions:

Institution  Transfer Guides

Lewis and Clark Community College  Coming Soon

All official transcripts must be issued by the awarding body; no credit will be awarded for grades or scores reported on the transcripts of other institutions or organizations. Credits accepted in transfer are posted to the Barnes-Jewish College transcript and are included in the cumulative hours, but are not included in the cumulative grade point average.

In general, college-level courses completed at a regionally accredited institution with a grade of “C” or better will be eligible for transfer. Credit by examination may also be transferable provided the score meets established requirements. In addition, Barnes-Jewish College reserves the right to place restrictions on particular courses regarding the age of the transfer credit.

Students wishing to transfer credits into the nursing area must receive approval from the appropriate assistant dean, as credits are evaluated in an individual basis. For more information on this procedure, please contact the academic advisor.
