A stroke caused by lupus fails to take down an ambitious R.N.

Christal Adams, 41, of Florissant, a registered nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and a graduate of Goldfarb School of Nursing, discusses her bout with a stroke that she later learned was caused by lupus. Still, her coworkers said her upbeat personality has never missed a beat and she's an inspiration to everyone.
