Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN to BSN Online Option, an online alternative for licensed, registered nurses interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
The RN to BSN Online Option is a one-year, three-term completion program. During the program, students are required to complete 33 credits in 10 courses encompassing theoretical concepts, informatics, health assessment, family assessment, basic statistics, research, community health, leadership, and population focused nursing care with an additional nursing elective. Students may transfer the required general education credit hours from community colleges or other universities.
There will be a one day orientation session prior to the start of the program held on campus at Goldfarb School of Nursing. All courses are conducted online. Each session is seven weeks in length. All nursing course materials, lectures, discussions, and assignments are provided online.
